Research Assistant at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. In 2017-2018, he was National Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He received a PhD in political science from University of Michigan. One of creators of the Election Forensics Toolkit website. Area of expertise: Russian politics, authoritarian regimes, electoral forensics and survey methodology. Kalinin’s scholarly works published in various Russian and international scientific publications.
