Candidate of Philosophical Sciences (1991), Assistant Professor (1994). Professor (2012–2016) and assistant director for academic affairs at the Ural Federal University. Konstantin Kiselyov is the author of over 400 academic papers, science journalism and other articles, including over 20 individual and collective monographs, dictionaries, guidebooks, textbooks, and source books. Throughout his career, he headed and co-authored many research and science projects. He took part in preparation and expert evaluation of several legislative initiatives in Sverdlovsk Oblast and Perm Krai. Staff expert at several regional and federal information and analytics agencies, media outlets and research foundations. Member of the Right to Choose Committee, which advocated for direct election of Yekaterinburg mayor in 2010. Deputy to the Yekaterinburg City Duma of the 6th and 7th convocations, chair of the Yabloko faction.
