Alexander A. Isavnin

A graduate of the MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, he has been working in network technology since 1998. So far, he has worked for Moscow telecom service providers ensuring inter-provider communication, introducing new network services and dealing with state authorities. At present, Aleksandr is teaching at The Free University, cooperating with human rights organizations focusing on Internet rights issues and researching the technical and legal landscapes of the Internet. He has been an election observer since 2013 and a member of precinct election commission with a deciding vote since 2018. In the 2021 election, Alexander worked at a territorial election commission member with a consulting vote. Since 2019, he has been a member of a working group on digital voting at the Civic Chamber of Moscow.
