Advanced Doctor of Political Sciences, he has two undergraduate degrees (History and English; Political Science). In 1990 he was elected deputy to Vladimir Oblast Council of People's Deputies, and stayed in office until 1994. Years between 1991 and 2001 were spent in public service in Vladimir Oblast administration. Since 2001, Roman V. Yevstifeyev has been working at the Vladimir branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Since 2021 he has been working at the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences as a leading researcher of the Political Science Department. Member of the Board of the Russian Political Science Association, full member of the Academy of Political Science. Author of over 200 research works, including 10 monographs.
