Graduated from Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas Industry in 1979 with a master degree in applied mathematics. While working at Institute for Nuclear Research he was the first who solved inverse problem of nuclear microanalysis. Later he developed media analytics software including first Russian media planner and TV-audience forecast tool. Then he implemented numerous machine learning algorithms and worked as a data analyst in some Russian and foreign companies. Now he is a senior data scientist in Rakuten Estonia. He worked in electoral statistics since 2011 as an independent researcher, implemented self-identifying version of Sergey Shpilkin’s algorithm and used it to evaluate Russian electoral fraud.
